Tool n' One - A MUST have! NEW from Spellbinder's

A few weeks ago I went to CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) and was able to see what is new, hot and trending in the world of crafting!

One of the booths that really caught my eye was Spellbinders who is also a NEW vendor at Scrapbook USA Expo this March. Their booth was gorgeous! The first thing that caught my eye was a little purple handheld  device that they were demonstrating. It is their newest product called Tool n' One. It is awesome!! Even if you don't ever plan on owning a die-cut from Spellbinder's, you will want this tool.
Learn more about Spellbinder's new tool

This handy tool performs a number of duties including paper piercing and paper removal. It has a variety of different "tips" that you attach to the end so you always have the right tool for the job. Another great feature is that the additional tips store inside the body of the tool for a convenient storage spot.

The big question is "Will this tool be at Scrapbook USA?" The answer is, "I hope so!" Hopefully the first shipment will arrive just before our show which will make us one of the first markets to have the opportunity to get this tool in our hands. Either way, stop by Spellbinder's booth and learn more about the Tool n' One as well as all the other products they will have available including their beautiful dies and machines!

Help Us Welcome Picaboo Yearbooks to Scrapbook USA! + Plus Giveaway

We are just days away from Scrapbook USA Expo 2013 and we have LOT'S of fun and creative new vendors at the show this year! We are SO excited to welcome Picaboo Yearbooks and can’t wait to have you check out what they have to offer…including free digital e-yearbooks…that’s right completely free no print obligation for schools, groups, or individuals.

But wait, before I get ahead of myself I should back track…Picaboo Yearbooks is a new division of Picaboo.com and they have leveraged their award winning software to allow individuals at any skill level to create a customized yearbook that is simple and fun to create.

I know your thinking yearbooks? What Picaboo Yearbooks is doing, is really more exciting than just yearbooks. Remember getting your yearbook and flipping through to see how many times your picture was in the book?  With Picaboo Yearbooks every student gets to customize their yearbook to tell their story; students can create a custom back cover and add four custom pages to the book all for free, truly making the book “their yearbook”.

The magic is, it’s not just yearbooks for high school, you’re going to want to check these out for your kids in elementary school and middle school and they can even be used for fundraisers for your kids sport groups and teams, cheerleading, dance, family reunions, group family vacations, family history books…the uses are endless because of the features and formatting they have created to make it accessible to everyone.

The web based application is free; you just go online and start your book. Books start at just $8.49 for a book with 20 pages and each page is only $0.21 more! I know the price is great but the best part is that there are no minimums that must be purchased to get this price and if you’re doing your book for a group you don’t have to preorder anything.

We all know nothing is harder than being the mom on the soccer team that volunteers to put together the photo book at the end of the season; you end up buying twenty books (spending way too much money) and running around to collect money and deliver the books, hoping everyone pays you! With Picaboo Yearbooks you’re provided an easy to set up e-commerce site so family and friends go online and purchase their book; selecting from soft cover, hard cover or the free digital e-yearbook and they all get to create a custom back cover and add 4 free custom pages to turning the group’s book into their personal book.

Are you ready to check it out?  Go to http://yearbooks.picaboo.com/ and start your project; books can be ordered as soon as they’re done and e-yearbooks can be downloaded for free starting April 1st.

***If you want a chance to win one of five coupon codes for a free soft cover book just visit Picaboo Yearbooks Facebook page and tell them what you think of a customized yearbook for your kids!

If you live in Utah and want more information on how to start your project or to talk about the discounts they have for schools and groups so they can easily fundraise using Picaboo Yearbooks then email Autumn at autumn(at)picabooyearbooks(dot)com

Welcome Lea France–One of our New vendors!

We are always seeking out new and different vendors that we can invite to Scrapbook USA Expo! I am thrilled that we have a number of new vendors that will be exhibiting with us this March!
Please give them a welcome and make sure to stop in each and every booth to learn more about their product.
Lea France is one of the new vendors coming this year and I am REALLY excited about her product. You can bet she will be demonstrating the tips and tricks behind her unique product!

Carine, Owner of Lea France brings a unique and creative style of photo framing using her own templates and techniques.

I absolutely love these layouts that I found on her website. You might notice the underlying theme of “summer fun” (someone is sick of snow, wink~wink)

I love the concept of putting together a collage like these and framing them for a time then sliding them into your albums.

Visit Lea France online to see more of her product and ideas plus stop by Lea France at the show! Carine will be demonstrating her templates for 12X12 layouts plus her 6X6 templates and other fun products!!
See you all in just 3 weeks!

Welcome Heartstring Designs to Scrapbook USA Expo

Hello and good morning..

It's Wendi here and I'm sharing with you a wonderful fun kit from Heartstring Designs. Heartstring Designs is one of the many new vendors you will see at The Original ScrapbookUSA Expo coming March 22-23rd. Heartstring Designs isn't brand new to the show, they have been a vendor in the past but they have been gone for a few years. They are now back, under new ownership and with a brand new look. They have the funnest, jammed pack with goodies kit, and it was sooo easy to work with. The products all coordinated and made it easy to come up with projects.

I used the January Vintage Wonder kit:
Its got all the cardstock, tons of pattern papers, a set of alphas and full of embellishments!!! It is packed!!

Today I am sharing some layouts that I made with the kit.
First up is a layout focusing on my son's last baseball season:
I also created this page of my husband on daughter together:
Lastly, I created a two pager of some photos from our summer getaway trip:
To better see it, here is the left side:
and the right side:
As you can see, there is a ton of variety you can get out of this kit!!!! It was super easy to work with, and everything coordinated really well. I LOVE it when a kit pulls together nicely, and you don't need anything else from your stash.

Make sure to check out Heartstring Designs at Scrapbook USA. Until then visit their blog and their website to check out all the fun goodies they have in their store. Also give them a "LIKE" on Facebook!

Have a wonderful day....
