#LetsCreateToday

Here at Let's Create Expo, we get you!

We get that you have an undeniable need to create, because we have that same undeniable need.

We get that when you have a creation in process, the house will not be cleaned, the laundry will not be washed, and the children may or may not be fed, because we do that too.

We get the huge rush that comes when you look at your finished project. We understand the blood, sweat, and tears that went into it. We know!

And so, because we get you, we want to celebrate with you. We want to share in that rush of pure joy that comes when you see your finished project.

Dress It Up - MME "Lost & found"

Hello my fabulous friends!

Are you ready for Valentines Day?
Well, My Mind's Eye has a beautiful line entitled "Lost & Found" that is perfect for your Valentines projects.... Although, in all honesty, who needs to wait for any specific day to tell someone you care?

I love the dress form trend. Something about them is so inspiring... They are like a canvas waiting to be decorated.

Last year, at the Scrapbook USA Expo, I picked up a fun flower die by Joy! Crafts called "Fantasy Flowers #2". All those tiny little blooms making up the skirt were cut using that die... I love the added dimension it gives!

A fun way to get more out of patterned papers is to brush on a layer of Gesso to cover parts of the pattern. This allows you to stamp an image onto a busy patterned paper without losing the image. To keep with the vintage feel of the papers, I lightly tinted the Gesso with some powdered pigments.

Enjoy!

Supplies Used:
Paper: My Minds Eye "Lost and Found", card stock
Ink: Distress Ink, Archival Ink
Stamps: TPC Studio "Vintage Threads", KI Memories "Celebrate Life"
Dies: Joy! Crafts "Fantasy Flower #2"
Other: Perfect Pearls, Magicals (Bit O'Bubbbly), Moon Shadow (Smokey Sapphire), rhinestones, jute, lace

Hearts! MME "Lost & Found"

Hello my fabulous friends!

Confession... I'm SO behind!

I really should have about 4 birthday cards done, as well as Valentines cards...
YAY for super cute paper from My Mind's Eye that made whipping up a quick CAS card easy!

These are from the "Lost & Found" collection... which I ADORE! Absolutely beautiful color and style!

To make a fun dimensional heart, simply cut multiple hearts out of paper, then attach them to your project by sewing a single line down the center. You can then fan out the layers. I love the simplicity of this technique! It's a super fast and easy way to add a little extra pop.

Enjoy!

Supplies Used:
Paper: My Mind's Eye "Lost and Found"
Ink: Distress ink
Stamps: My Mind's Eye "Story"
Dies: Spellbinders "Hearts One"
Other: Imaginisce Hot Rocks

MME Valentine's Card

Hello and good morning..

It's Wendi here and sharing a recent card I made using My Mind's Eye Lost and Found It Heirloom collection. With Valentines right around the corner, it's the perfect line to make a card for that someone special.

Be Mine:

I cut and layered a pennant across the bottom, and then added my sentiment with some MME mini alphas.

And then mixed and matched some triangle shapes that I cut out and arranged them and then popped on some decorative brads too:

I sewed around the outer ridge to give it more of a central focus point.

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure to see what My Mind's Eye is up to.

Other supplies: machine sewing, cardstock.

Fall=Apple Cider

Hello! It’s Heather again and I am back with a fun card I created using the beautiful DCWV Spiced Cider Stack. This stack is perfect for all kinds of Thanksgiving themed projects. The paper has a beautiful glossy texture and some fun cooking related images. Here is my card:

This card actually came together very quickly, and I love how it turned out. I started with a red leaf patterned background, and added a yellow polka dot patterned paper as a layer. It doesn't come through very well in the photo, but the yellow dots have a little bit of a glitter-y sheen. I added some pretty yellow ribbon along the bottom. I then cut out the tag, fence-style sign and the leaf. I added some baker's twine to the hole of the tag, offset the sign so it falls a little off the card and popped up the leaf on foam dots for dimension. Here is a closer look of the leaf:

Thanks for looking at my project! Be sure and check out the DCWV Spiced Cider stack for your own Thanksgiving cards and projects.
